In the East Wing of the Great Orangery Charlottenburg, you receive your guests against an imposing backdrop. Along two 56m-long facades, natural light streams in through 3.70m-high, floor-to-ceiling windows and creates an open and welcoming atmosphere for events with 2 to 500 people right from the first glance.
With its white decor and ceiling height of 6.50m, the East Wing is characterised by an unobtrusive lavishness that offers space for a huge variety of events and occasions, from highly appealing trade fairs and exhibitions, to representative meetings, conferences, lectures, and presentations, to sumptuous balls, evocative wedding parties, and rousing birthdays and anniversaries.
Baroque stucco elements and arched windows designed based on historical examples give the 56x8m room its subtle yet exceptional character. The heated, checkerboard-patterned natural stone floor in light grey and warm English red is suitable for dancing and reminiscent of the courtly past, helping make the venue so unique.
The East Wing of the Orangery at Charlottenburg Palace combines historic charm with the facilities of modern event infrastructure. The ground-level entrance – for all event logistics as well as for vehicle presentations – and the barrier-free access for guests ensure the event runs smoothly. Furthermore, an on-site project manager will assist you in overcoming any challenges that arise.
As the host, you can rely on the permanently installed background sound system if necessary – and in any case, you’ll benefit from the excellent acoustics of the 448m2 ballroom. Suspension points for pictures and posters enable you to arrange exhibitions and individually decorate rooms. Installing lighting technology requires appropriate truss towers, which can be rented from our service partners, among others things.
There is a stage between 24m2 (6x4m) and 48m2 (6x8m) with a height of 40 to 80cm available to hire on request. The windows in the stage area can of course be blacked-out to ensure you have your guests’ full attention. Consequently, the East Wing is very popular as a meeting room and conference venue in Berlin.
The Orangery Hall is available to you as an organiser as a befitting setting for receptions and cloakrooms. Thanks to its 8.50m-high domed ceiling decorated with paintings and the decorative columns in reddish stucco marble, the Orangery Hall creates an unforgettable first impression as soon as you enter.

|All the seating options from classic to modern are also available: banquet seating at round gala tables (max. 300 people), block tables (max. 240 people), parliamentary seating (ca. 200 people), theatre-style seating, or a reception with bar tables (max 500 people). Last but not least, the wide, straight East Wing is suitable for implementing informal and casual lounge concepts.|
